Build your investment in your horse by working everyday to broaden your baby's acceptance to new stimuli – be creative in your approach and remain vigilant. Don't put yourself in dangerous positions (between two youngsters who might become startled, for instance); always ask for the tail to turn away from you when you're near (to feed, for example, as outlined in yesterday's segment) and be sure to harness good old common sense.
