Foal Training Explained: The First Two Years
Mare owners, if you'd like to get your colt or filly started out with a proper foundation, I would suggest the investment of $5.99 in my foal-training course.

An excerpt from "Your Foal: Essential Training for the Young Horse":

What we'll cover in this book: In Day One we'll begin gently taking charge as we begin to control the direction of the horse and his movements. The light bulb over his head flickers for the first time as your youngster begins to realize that we call the shots. Day Two capitalizes on the gains we've made, taking things a step further by desensitizing our colts to our touch, our presence and objects such as the lunge whip, halter and lead rope. We'll continue building our foundation on Day Three when we teach the horse to drop his head, soften his neck and readily accept being haltered and having his ears touched. Day Four is all about leading, and finally Day Five will show us how to bathe our foals.
